InfoLink

InfoLink is the monthly newsletter of the Simmons Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS). While working as a student worker, I was asked to redesign the InfoLink website so that it more closely matched the new Simmons GSLIS website design.

This process required close examination of the styles used to create the main GSLIS page, and resulted in some interesting work-arounds when the original site could not be replicated exactly. For example, the main GSLIS site uses Flash to create page titles, which allows the titles to be displayed in a font that is not web-safe. Without this at my disposal, I had to create "look-alike" using a similar typeface and a few tweaks to the layout.
